The Eazeo Digital Video Recorder (DVR1B1161) brings advanced recording and playback technology to the Eazeo color observation system. The DVR allows uninterrupted recording in either continuous or time-lapse modes for as long as a week or more. There are no video tapes to change and store, and frequent, costly VCR maintnance is eliminated. Digital technology allows any desired events to be retrieved and viewed virtually instantly, with a choice of easy-to-use search methods. Pictures and clips can be exported to Compact Flash media using the built-in card slot, allowing convenient storage and viewing on a PC. Operation is easy and intuitive, with simple VCR-like controls and a clear on-screen menu for setup and timer functions. Specific security features include automatic preand post-alarm record modes, alarm input and output connections and multi-level password protection for viewing and setup functions. Meeting the need for network integration, the Eazeo DVR has TCP/IP connectivity allowing remote, web-based viewing using a standard web browser. Also provided is an RS-232 interface for remote control.

These flexible recorders are designed to suit many applications. Each unit provides two quality settings (VHS and SVHS), three recording modes (manual, event, scheduled), six recording speeds, and three overwrite modes (Continuous, Write Once and Stop). The large storage capacity practically eliminates the need for tape archiving, although digital tape archive systems are supported. Selected events can be backed up locally to a CD-writer. Additionally, events may be stored as video clips on your PC's hard drive, using the Remote Viewer software. The Remote Viewer provides access to live, recorded, and backed up images, as well as snapshot creation and image enhancement. ###
