The Alpha Communications model IH102 Flush Steel Mounting Ring is made of heavy gauge steel, in a galvanized finish.

The IH102 is an open design mounting ring, designed to be used in existing sheetrock or panelled walls, where the unit cannot be mounted onto the stud. As a lower cost option on new construction, it can also be nailed or screwed to a mounting stud, before the sheetrock is applied.
