The VeriSeries line of biometric fingerprint readers by Bioscrypt Inc. is available in a variety of solutions to suit your access control needs. The V-FLEX reader, installed next to any Wiegand based reader, adds dual factory authentication to an existing access control system. Up to 4,500 templates can be stored in the reader. The V-PASS reader eliminates the needs for PINs, keys or cards to gain access to secure areas. This reader can hold up to 500 templates. The V-PROX reader combines fingerprint with the ability to read HID proximity cards. This reader can hold up to 4,500 templates. The V-Smart reader, available in OmniClass and Mifarecompatible versions, eliminates the need for PIN codes to gain access to secured areas. Users are verified in less than two seconds. Once a user is verified by the reader, the card data is communicated to the panel via a Wiegand connection. The V-Station reader has an 80-character LCD display and numeric keypad. The V-Station maintains and logs approximately 4096 time-stamped transactions and can store 3,550 templates on the terminal. The V-Station reader is available in five versions: base model with PIN verification, HID prox model, OmniClass/ iCLASS model, Mifare model, and an identification model with a quick search function (limited to 1500 templates in unit).
