The Bosch KBE-498V75-20N Outdoor IP & Day/Night Camera (7.5-50mm) includes an NBN-498-21P Dinion2x Day/Night IP Camera, an LTC 3674/20 Varifocal Lens, and an LTC 9215/00 Indoor/Outdoor Mount.

The NBN-498-21P Day/Night IP Camera with a 1/3" high-resolution imager provides high-quality imagery at a horizontal resolution up to 540TVL. It features a 20-bit digital signal processing technology that improves the sensitivity, and the 2x dynamic technology doubles the dynamic range, thus providing detailed images. The Bilinx technology enables you to change the camera settings, check status, and update firmware from anywhere via the coaxial cable. In addition, the technology uses the standard video cable to transmit alarm and status messages, improving the overall performance of the camera and reducing the service/installation time. With the SmartBLC feature, the IP camera adjusts video gain to correct the exposure when the object being captured is in front of a bright light source.

With H.264 compression, bandwidth throttling, and multicasting capabilities, the Dinion2X Day/Night IP Camera resourcefully handles bandwidth and storage requirements, while offering high picture quality and resolution. The M-JPEG video stream offers easy coalition with other JPEG or M-JPEG-compatible video management systems.

Built-in Motion+ video motion analysis system is an ideal solution for applications, where examination of basic video content is required. The motion analysis algorithm is based on pixel change, and incorporates object size filtering capabilities and advanced tamper-detection capabilities. The Dinion2X Day/Night IP Camera is compliant with ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Forum), which enables exchange and use of information between network video products to exchange live video, audio, metadata, and control information, and the systems are auto detected and connected to video management systems.

Integrated IR filter automatically switches from color to monochrome either by sensing the illumination level or through the alarm input. With Default Shutter, the camera can capture high speed moving objects when sufficient light is available, and the shutter speed returns to default value under low-light conditions to maintain sensitivity. The SensUp Dynamic feature improves the sensitivity by increasing the integration time up to 10 times on the CCD.

IP66-rated weatherproof, vandal-resistant housing ensures uninterrupted surveillance in exposed and high-risk locations. The camera and lens are pre-wired into a housing that has a feed-through wall mount. The outdoor camera includes a heater and blower to maintain the internal temperature of the unit and a sunshield to protect the unit from direct sunlight.

The LTC 3674/20 Varifocal Lens offers a focal length ranging from 7.5-50mm for 1/3" image sensors. It features a maximum aperture (f-stop) of f/1.3-360 that ensures high-quality images even in low-light conditions. In addition, manual focus and zoom control allow precise focusing of objects. The lens is equipped with a DC-iris control connection that is a 4-pin standard plug that connects directly to the camera's iris output. The lens has a CS lens mount and comes with a robust construction that is ideal for use with surveillance cameras.

The LTC 9215/00 Indoor/Outdoor Mount can easily hold a fixed camera or camera housing installations weighing up to 20 lb (9 kg). Made of lightweight aluminum and with a welded construction, the mount is corrosion-resistant and suitable for rigid environments. The versatile swivel head adds flexibility by rotating up to 360° and providing tilt up to 180°. Tubular feed-through design hides the cable that runs from the mounting head to the mounting surface, thus deterring vandals and thieves from cutting the wires.
