Description
A Central Station Monitoring Receiver that takes you into the bold new world of Internet monitoring while continuing to provide reliable and efficient dial-up capabilities. The performance of the Osborne-Hoffman receivers has set and raised the industry standard ever since their first multi-format receiver was introduced in 1981.
Standard Features
The OH2000E handles signals very reliably, and this is the single most important factor in monitoring. More signals get through with fewer error messages.
Maximum lines in minimal space - A high line capacity, accommodating up to 16 lines in only 5 vertical inches of rack mount space. Space is often at a premium in central stations, and with one popular receiver today, you would need 5 times the area of the OH2000E to accommodate the same number of lines.
Handles over 150 formats - and most can be mixed on the same lines without limitations imposed by speed or type. Dr. Hoffman and Dr. Osborne invented the first multi-format receiver ¿- and hold the patent -- and no one does it better.
DNIS (dialed number identification service) ready for larger central stations to eliminate ¿hunt groups¿ and reduce the total number of receivers and physical lines required.
Windows Utility for easy programming of options such as Listen-In, Caller ID, line designation, handshake sequence, etc.
Upgrades for new formats are easy via flash memory and E-mail.
Non-volatile event buffer with over 750 events stored per line, or over 12,000 total events for a fully loaded OH2000E.
Add lines in seconds with ¿hot-swappable¿ line cards while receiver continues to operate.
Digital signal processing with a dedicated DSP processor on each line for time, frequency, and amplitude analysis. A 16-line OH2000E receiver is the same as 16 individual receivers in one box.
Fast 9600-baud computer interface that sends data to automation as fast as signals can come into receiver.
Unique self-test feature where automation commands one of the lines to dial the phone number of another line and send a signal.
Very well engineered receiver with no fans, low power consumption, and reliable performance.
TCP/IP line cards that work with NX controls with TCP/IP modules and ITI controls that utilize Premisconnect.
Economical in cost.
As a part of GE-Security, expanded technical and engineering support is available while still utilizing the engineering talent and 20+ years of experience of Dr. Hoffman and Dr. Osborne.
