Dotworkz 2.4 GHZ 802.11 b/g Sidekick Series is part of Dotworkz line of wireless products bringing flexibility, versatility, scalability and a seamless integration path at accessible prices to projects of all sizes and needs. Dotworkz has combined two proven technologies - broadband wireless transmission and networked video surveillance - to overcome many of the obstructions users face when attempting to deploy remote surveillance and monitoring systems.

  • Cost Effective when compared to fiber, cable, and trenching. Less installation time when compared to traditional cable routing methods.
  • Long Range - The camera station has a range of up to 3 miles.
  • Security - Uses 128 Bit WEP and WPA/WPA2 encryption, and will only allow Dotworkz certified wireless devices on the link. Rogue equipment will not have access to the system. All devices are MAC authenticated.
  • Flexibility - quickly deployed and reconfigured - operational within hours. Deploys virtually anywhere - rugged terrain, bodies of water, remote areas.
  • High Performance - Enables real-time transmission and control of surveillance cameras over wireless. Up to 54Mbps.
  • Integration- Compatible with Dotworkz outdoor environmental enclosures. Provides a 12VDC source for camera, and Heater/Blower or Dual Blowers.
  • Ready out of the box- All Sidekick units are pre-configured with static IP's in the C class range. If you network uses a specific IP scheme, contact us to tailor the system to your network.
  • Camera Station includes 2 ft antenna cable and a 12dBi Directional antenna.
