    Fire-Lite 411 Slave DACT Digital Alarm Communicator Transmitter Fire-Lite ANN-80: Remote LCD Annunciator
    The Fire-Watch 411 Series from FireLite are compact, multifaceted, slave Digital Alarm Communicator Transmitters (DACTs) designed for a variety of fire, and non-fire applications. The series consists of two models: the 411 and 411UD, providing three and four monitoring channels (inputs) respectively. These slave DACTs are a cost-effective solution for applications that require an existing (or new) Fire Alarm Control Panel to transmit system status to an off-site monitoring facility for Central or Remote Station compliance. Due to extremely flexible programming options, the 411 Series slave DACTs are also ideal for monitoring non-fire control panels. With fifteen selectable transmission formats, including ADEMCO Contact ID, compatibility with virtually all Digital Alarm Communicator Receivers (DACR) is ensured. Programming can be accomplished on-site with a hand-held programmer (PRO-411), or remotely (411UD only) utilizing an optional PK-411UD Windows-based remote upload/download software package. The PK-411UD upload/download software also permits system integration and revision from a remote site. The ANN-80 annunciator is a compact, backlit, 80-character LCD fire annunciator that mimics the Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) display. It provides system status indicators for AC Power, Alarm, Trouble, Supervisory, and Alarm Silenced conditions. The ANN-80 and the FACP communicate over a two-wire serial interface employing the ANN-BUS communication format. Connected devices are powered, via two additional wires, by either the host FACP or a remote UL-listed, filtered power supply. ANN-80 is red; for white, order ANN-80-W.

    The ANN-80 displays English-language text of system point information including device type, zone, independent point alarm, trouble or supervisory status, as well as any custom alpha labels programmed into the control panel. It includes control switches for remote control of critical system functions. (A keyswitch prevents unauthorized operation of the control switches.)

    Up to eight ANN-80s may be connected to the ANN-BUS of each FACP. No programming is required, which saves time during system commissioning.

    The HSC-4R is designed specifically for 24 volt 4 wire applications using HOCHIKI Conventional Models SIJ-24, SLR-24V, SLR-24H, SLR-835, SLR-835H or DCD-135/190. The 6" diameter base is current limited. Relay contact place a direct short occurs across the loop when the detector is actuated.
    Model HSC-4R is also approved for use with previous HOCHIKI Conventional Models SIH-24F, SLK-24F, SLK-24FH and the DFE 135/ 190.

    "The Fenwal Detect-A-Fire Fire Detectors are the ""heart"" of many fire protection systems. These highly reliable devices have been a standard of the industry for over 45 years. Many thousands of these units are now in use controlling the release of extinguishants such as clean agents, CO2, water, or dry chemicals. In some systems the Detect-A-Fire is used as a fire alarm device, to sense overheat or fire and alert personnel. In other systems it is used as a release device, to sense fire and actuate fire attack systems. The Fenwal Detect-A-Fire has met with wide acceptance because it is designed with ""rate compensation."" Rate compensation provides a unique advantage over both fixed temperature and rate-of-rise types of detectors because only the Detect-A-Fire unit accurately senses the surrounding air temperature regardless of the fire growth rate. At precisely the predetermined danger point, the system is activated.
    The secret of the unit's sensitivity is in the design. The outer shell is made of a rapidly expanding alloy which closely follows changes in surrounding air temperature. The inner struts are made of a lower expanding alloy. Designed to resist thermal energy absorption and sealed inside the shell, the struts follow temperature changes more slowly. A slow rate fire will heat the shell and struts together. At the ""set point,"" the unit will trigger. A transient rush of warm air up to 40F/min. may expand the shell, but not enough to trigger the unit, virtually eliminating false alarms. If a fast rate fire starts, the shell will expand rapidly. The struts will close and the unit will trigger. The faster the fire rate of growth, the sooner the Detect-A-Fire will react. Fenwal Detect-A-Fire units are not position sensitive. Horizontal and vertical detectors refer to the most common mounting configuration for that unit. Each type can be mounted either horizontally or vertically depending on the application and installation requirements

    The Fenwal Models THD-7052 and THD-7053 are thermistor- based electronic Heat Detectors with a 135Deg F (57Deg C) Fixed Temperature set point. In addition, the Model THD-7052 has a Rate-Of-Rise of temperature detection feature rated at 15Deg F (8.3Deg C) per minute. Both detectors have advanced solid-state, low-voltage, surface- mount circuitry and are designed for 2-Wire and 4- Wire installation using the appropriate Detector base. The detectors are designed for Open Area Protection (UL 521) and may be installed in systems intended for Releasing Device Service through use of a compatible Fire Alarm Control Panel Two Red Light Emitting Diodes are located diametrically opposite each other so as to allow 360-degree viewing. Both LEDs continuously indicate the operating condition of the Detector. During standby, the LEDs flash once every six seconds. During alarm, both LEDs light steady at full brilliance. A double flash every six seconds indicates a detector with a thermistor trouble. An optional base is available to provide remote LED function. A unique gated output circuit design provides improved stability and transient suppression. Special signal processing techniques verify the presence of smoke before the detector will alarm. The detector head is installed into the base with a simple twist-lock action. A locking feature is provided for vandal resistant security. Detector base options are available to provide for auxiliary test, indication and/or control functions Optional bases are available for supplementary 2-wire or 4-wire relay functions. The Model THD-705x Heat Detectors may be interchanged with other Fenwal Series CPD- 705X Ionization and Series PSD-715X Photoelectric Smoke Detectors when using multifunction base configuration
