GE Interlogix SR-5414W Glassbreak Shock Sensor GE Security 5812-RND - ShatterPro 3 glassbreak sensor, round

Glassbreak Shock Sensor

The glassbreak shock sensor mounts on windows or doors, either on the frame or on the glass. The sensor responds to the shock waves that are created when the protected glass is broken. Adjustable sensitivity allows each installation to be fine-tuned, enhancing the sensor's detection and minimizing nuisance alarms.

  • Mounts on the frame or on the glass - screw or tape mounted
  • Adjustable sensitivity for enhanced detection and reduced false alarms
  • Terminal connections
  • Magnet can mount on either side of sensor with 1" gap (max.)
  • White
  • The 5812-RND detects in a full 360° coverage pattern, with a maximum 25¿ (7.5m) radius from sensor to glass. Using the patented Pattern Recognition Technology¿, the sensor listens for actual patterns of breaking glass while eliminating most false alarm patterns. The 5812-RND listens across the glassbreak frequency spectrum for greater false alarm immunity.

In independent lab tests, the 5812-RND technology provides 25% better false alarm immunity than industry leading glassbreak sensors.

The 5812-RND can be tested without opening the sensor by activating a hand held glassbreak tester at close range. A simple hand clap feature lets end users confirm at any time that the 5812-RND is powered up.

    Standard Features

    • 25 % better false alarm immunity than industry leaders*
    • All new, easy-access design
    • End-user can test sensor operation with a clap of the hands
    • Alarm memory
