The Day-Nite and Day-Nite 25X, with both color and black-and-white modes, provides 24-hour surveillance in any lighting. The full-featured, versatile Classic includes a black and white camera for most standard applications. The simple and economical Select 18X is designed to save you money in less sophisticated applications. Then you choose from eight housings, to fit the application environment. Next you pick from five acrylic or two polycarbonate dome finishes, selecting the one that blends in best with the surroundings or fits the lighting of your application. Then theres an entire line of mounting accessories so you can install a CyberDome virtually anywhere you need surveillance. You can even choose coaxial cable or unshielded twisted-pair (UTP) connections, any of three different power supply units, and NTSC or PAL models of all cameras. Or you can add a heater-and-fan unit if temperature is a concern. All these choices give you 592 possible combinationsbut choosing the right CyberDome is simple. This model features a high-resolution camera that can switch automatically between color and monochrome modes. During the day its a color camera. At night its a monochrome camera. This feature allows you to use one CyberDome for both day and night surveillance and build your system with fewer domes and less cost. The Day-Nite incorporates an electronic control that reduces the shutter speed to take in 15 times more light and obtain usable images in extreme low-light conditions

With its integrated color and monochrome camera, 18X auto-focus zoom lens, and built-in receiver, the CyberDome Day-Nite is one of GE Security, Kalatel's most advanced high-speed surveillance domes. Its innovative, high-resolution camera features a removable IR cut filter - enabling it to be used for 24-hour surveillance. In daylight, it functions as a color camera sensitive to 0.7 lux. At night, when the level drops below a user defined setting, it automatically removes the IR cut filter - enabling it to function as a monochrome camera with 0.01 lux sensitivity.
