This wireless pet-immune motion detector uses passive infrared technology to detect movement within range of its field of view. This wireless indoor motion detector can be used in large rooms, narrow corridors and stairwells. If motion is detected, this device will activate your alarm and communicate with GeoArm's central station. In the event of an emergency, our professional operators will follow protocol and dispatch your local authorities if needed.

Wireless motion detectors are used for "space protection" when your system is armed usually in "away" mode. Instead of contacting every window in a room you could use a wireless motion detector to protect the room instead. Used mostly in main living spaces and hallways. When arming your system in "stay" mode your motion detectors normally will not be active so we recommend you install a wireless glassbreak detector as a backup. Do not install motion detectors in a room that a large pet that weighs more than 40lbs and has access to. Such an event will result in false alarm.
