DVMRe Triplex is GE Securityís digital multiplexer/recorder designed to exceed your expectations of a surveillance recording system. The popular Triplex functionality has been taken one step further with new features that put the DVMRe Triplex in a class by itself.
Without disturbing recording, live and recorded images can be viewed simultaneously on separate monitors or combined onto one monitor. No longer will you miss important events because you are reviewing stored images. In the event of power outage the DVMRe Triplex retains all camera-to-camera assignments in nonvolatile memory so all screen configurations will be re-established when the system is powered up.
And there will be more, clearer images for review. By utilizing Parallel Video Processing (PVPo), DVMRe Triplex can record up to 60 pictures per second (pps). This rate is twice as fast as many other digital recorders and three times faster than most multiplexer/VCR combinations. These images will be archived in the systemís four hard drives, improving your ability to store and access recorded images.
DVMRe Triplex also offers FireWire as a standard connection. FireWire is an ultra high speed serial data connection that is capable of transfer speeds of up to 400 mega bits per second to a DVSe. This is 33 times faster than USB. Firewire uses an IEEE 1394 port for transmission. The cable for the IEEE 1394 port must be purchased separately.
