GE's Single-channel Passive UTP Baluns are now IFS. These Single-channel Passive UTP Baluns are designed to deliver quality video transmission up to 750 feet when used in pairs or with any IFS Passive Transceiver Hub. A cost-effective solution for transmitting analog video on unshielded twisted pair vs. coax, these transceivers are available in two versions - standard or with built-in surge protection - both in various configurations. They also support "up-the-coax" PTZ controls providing bi-directional transmission of data signals.

With their exceptionally compact size, no power requirements and availability in multiple configurations, these baluns provide flexible options for various installation applications. For use with Category 2 or better cable, these baluns provide 60db noise immunity to reduce the possibility of crosstalk when used with multi-pair cabling. These products are ideal for CCTV, video conferencing and elevator surveillance.
