Each CyberDome camera has different options for optical and digital zoom, programmable presets, lines of resolution, black and white or color camera, lux sensitivity, presets, and shadow tours. Outdoor, indoor, day or night, a CyberDome camera is available to fit your needs.
All cameras provide line lock, a feature that synchronizes all CyberDomesí vertical phases to prevent picture roll during video and switching operations.
The CyberDome camera provides a full range of pan, tilt, and zoom movements that can be controlled with speeds up to 400 degrees per second between preset positions. Manual control speeds vary between 0.5 degree and 120 degrees per second. Optical disk readers keep track of the cameraís position, and high-quality gold slip rings enable a full 360-degree pan.
High-grade, continuous-duty stepper motors power the smooth movements of the pan/tilt assembly. These microprocessorcontrolled motors provide clean, variable speed control for precise manual operation at the highest Magnifications with a preset accuracy to ± 0.01 degree.
After the camera is installed, auto/manual focus, digital zoom, backlight compensation, and other options can be programmed and controlled remotely.
Privacy masking is available on the 18X Day-Nite and the 25X DayNite cameras. This feature allows you to mask out areas that you donít want to capture on video.
CyberDome Day-Nite 18X:
With its integrated color and monochrome camera and 18X auto-focus zoom lens, the CyberDome Day-Nite is one of the most advanced high speed surveillance domes. Its innovative, high resolution camera features a removable infrared cut filterñenabling it to be used for 24-hour surveillance. In daylight, it functions as a color camera sensitive to 0.7 lux. At night, when the light level drops below a user defined setting, it automatically removes the IR cut filterñenabling it to function as a monochrome camera with 0.01-lux sensitivity.
Electronic shutter control increases photosensitivity. By reducing the shutter speed from 60 frames per second to 4 frames per second, the Day-Niteís camera becomes 15 times more sensitive to light, temporarily enhancing images in low-light conditions.
Additional features include 12X digital zoom; an azimuth feature for displaying the cameraís direction of view; autoiris with manual override; auto or manual focus; backlight compensation; 64 programmable presets; 64 preset and area titles; and auto return to home, tour, and autopan. It also features up to four camera tours including two ShadowTours. Privacy masking allows for 24 user defined masks with a maximum of eight visible in the viewing screen.
