The KTD-313 Data Converter is a 10-way protocol translator that converts American Dynamics (AD) Manchester, Video Controls Limited (VCL), Diamond, Pelco P and Pelco D protocol to Digiplex RS422 and converts Digiplex RS422 protocol to AD Manchester and Diamond protocol. This enables multiple GE Security PTZ (pan/tilt/zoom) receivers to be controlled on a single twisted-pair line by AD Manchester, Diamond, and Pelco head-end systems. It also enables one or more GE Security controllers to operate AD Manchester, Diamond, and Pelco receivers.
When used to convert to Digiplex RS422, the KTD-313 also provides preset control of GE Security receivers. When paired with variable-speed controllers, it provides variable-speed control of the CyberDome. The KTD-313 also provides an eight-position DIP switch that is field programmable.
