The IFS VT/VR4000 Video Transmitter and Receiver series utilizes frequency modulation for transmission quality that meets some of the requirements for EIA RS-250C Medium-Haul Video Transmission.These environmentally hardened units provide transmission of NTSC, PAL, or SECAM video over one multimode or singlemode fiber optic cable and are ideal for use in unconditioned out-of-plant or roadside installations. Plug-and-play design ensures ease of installation and no electrical or optical adjustments are ever required. LED indicators are provided for rapidly ascertaining equipment operating status, and this equipment is available in either stand-alone or rack mount configurations. The VT1500WDM-Ademco video transmitter and data receiver module is designed for use in the Ademco RapidDome and RapidGold camera system. This module allows the dome camera to be connected directly to optical fiber, providing a fully integrated solution.This unit mounts directly into the dome’s power supply enclosure, replacing the traditional power, data and coaxial cable connection.The IFS VT1500WDM-Ademco allows for the simultaneous transmission of Video, PTZ Data and Contact Closure over one optical fiber. The unit features a contact closure input that allows an additional device such as a dome tamper switch or alarm input to be added and its signal transmitted back to the monitoring location. This feature eliminates the need for installing additional wiring to support the alarm contact closure.

The optical output of the dome is compatible with the standard IFS VR1500WDM receiver or VR1500WDM-CC, and is designed for quick and easy installation into the RapidDome system and utilizes one multimode optical fiber. In addition, the VT1500WDM-Ademco transceiver is designed to be an integral part of the RapidDome and RapidGold system, there are no external electrical connections or additional hardware at the camera site.

The IFS VT/VR1500 series video and data transceiver
supports the simultaneous transmission of video and
one-way return data over one or two multimode optical
fibers. The module is universally compatible with major
CCTV camera manufacturers and supports RS-232 and
RS-422 data interfaces and all major data protocols.
Plug-and-play design ensures ease of installation requiring
no electrical or optical adjustments. The modules
incorporate power, video presence, optional contact
closure, data out, and AGC status indicating LED’s to
monitor proper system operation. The VR1500WDM-CC
features an optional contact closure input that allows an
additional device such as a dome tamper switch or alarm
input to be added and its signal transmitted back to the
monitoring location. This feature eliminates the need for
installing additional wiring to support the alarm contact
closure. The modules are available in either stand-alone
or rack mount versions. 		IFS VT1101M Mini Video Transmitters (Direct Camera Mount) - The IFS VT1101M video mini-transmitter supports the simultaneous transmission of a fixed video signal using AM modulation and one contact closure on one multimode fiber optic cable. This contact closure allows an additional device such as a dome tamper switch or alarm event input to be added and its signal transmitted back to the monitoring location. The transmitter is direct camera mountable eliminating the use of coaxial cable at the camera connection and will fit in most camera housings. A BNC feed-through coupler is also supplied to connect to coaxial cable when not mounting the module directly to the camera. The VT1101M video transmitter is compatible with the IFS VR1000, VR1001, VR1100, VR2100 and VR1100CC receivers. Plug-and-play design ensures ease of installation requiring no electrical or optical adjustments. The transmitter incorporates a power status indicating LED for monitoring proper system operation.The transmitter is available in a stand-alone version only.
