The Ikegami PAC-509 ODH combines a high resolution camera, varifocal lens, outdoor camera housing, and wall bracket in a package that is both stylish and easy to install. To speed installation, this package comes pre-assembled from the manufacturer, and is also pre-wired with 5' video and power cables. You'll also appreciate the way the cables can be threaded through the bracket via a 1/2" conduit connection for a secure and neat install.

These Ikegami 'PAC' series kits are available with either the ICD-508 or ICD-509 cameras. While both are called Day/Night cameras, only the ICD-509 is a true Day/Night camera with an IR cut filter mechanism, while the ICD-508 simply switches from color to B/W to enhance low light images. The ICD-509 also offers a higher resolution and a slightly better signal to noise ratio.

The housings included in these packages are available with or without an integrated heater system. And although the housings by themselves are fully weatherproof it's a good idea to get one with a heater if the installation location involves excessive exposure to cold temperatures.

True Day/Night Change-Over Function (0.037 Lux)

A well designed moving IR cut filter system, inter-connected with the Automatic Gain Control system makes the ICD-509 the ideal Day/Night camera, capable of providing a high quality crisp picture reproduction with 570 TVL horizontal resolution under ultra low light conditions down to an amazing 0.037 lux minimum scene illumination performance.

High Picture Quality and Low Smear and Noise (52dB)

The improved DSP circuit permits more than 52dBS Signal-to-Noise ratio with good performance of -110dB vertical pixel overload protection. (Conditions: Standard Illumination, Luminance Signal, Detail off)

540/570 TVL High-Resolution Pictures

DSP-based detail correction function results in a far sharper image and better Signal-to-Noise ratio. The horizontal resolution is as high as 540 TVL in the color mode and as high as 570 TVL in the monochrome mode.

Wide Auto White Balance

The unit is also provided with automatic tracking white balance control (ATW). Improved tracking color range can be used under different lighting conditions such as Sodium light.

Focus EZ Function

Just press the button located at the back of the unit, and the auto iris lens aperture will be kept open, even in broad daylight. This ensures that an accurate focus can be set with the best depth of field.

Monitor Selection Switch

This switch is to get a proper image by selecting your display device (LCD or CRT).
