Description

GE Security's fire-rated housing is designed for installation in one-hour fire-rated ceilings. Certified to the American Standard Testing and Materials (ASTM) E119 standard, the fire-rated housing is installed with a 1-inch-thick insulation blanket, which reduces heat transfer from the housing to the ceiling's second layer. It also features an innovative, flush-mounted steel collar.
