The General Electric TruVision DVR 10 1TB 4-CH H.264 DVR is an affordable and easy to use 4 channel DVR for your home or business. You can use this DVR to view, record, and play back images from 4 analog CCTV cameras. This DVR uses the H.264 compression method to maintain quality video images while maximizing storage and network resources.
Video is recorded at speeds up to 120 FPS (NTSC at CIF) for the combined channels. This translates into a real-time recording speed of 30 FPS for each camera input. The result is smooth video playback with every frame accounted for.
On account of its network connection you can access this DVR anytime and from anywhere to view cameras and recordings over the Internet. And thanks to its DDNS support, connecting from a remote location is a simple and easy affair.
You can set this DVR to record at a certain date and time, or only when movement is detected in the camera's field of view. This will save you time when searching for event footage and will also cut down on network and storage requirements. Motion detection parameters can be fine tuned to minimize the occurrences of false alarms.
A built-in HDD self-monitoring system continuously checks the performance of the HDD and will alert you at the first sign of a potential problem.
