The General Electric TruVision H.264 Digital Video Recorder (2 TB, 8-Channel) features 8 audio and video channels and allows you to record videos at up to D1 resolution. H.264 compression helps reduce video file sizes without compromising on the quality and integrity of images. Video recording can be schedule-based or can be set to be triggered by specific alarms and events. The DVR creates a file that can be viewed by any PC with a TVR 30 player, making it ideal for retail, education, police interrogation rooms, and small commercial applications.
Videos can be searched based on alarm, motion, and time and date parameters. The DVR features an IR remote control, mouse, front panel buttons, and a remote browser, allowing you to easily configure the DVR, view live video, and search and play back recorded videos.
The USB 2.0 port and built-in CD/DVD burner allow you to quickly archive recorded video at the touch of a button. Moreover, as the DVR supports hot-swapping, you can connect an external device at any time without having to shut down the system. The Record Wizard allows you to enter the number of days for which recorded video can be stored; the DVR programs itself to manage the required space.
With the dual streaming feature, the Dual-Streaming DVR can transmit a high-quality stream and a lower quality stream at the same time, allowing videos to be viewed comfortably on high as well as low bandwidth networks. The external alarm inputs trigger an alarm when movement in a user-defined area of the image is detected. The Motion Detection feature allows video recording to begin only when motion is detected, thus saving precious storage space.
