Cat. No. 3800 devices are designed for mounting in standard equipment cabinets where transient voltage surge suppression is desired for the enclosed equipment. The MOV-based circuit design of each module provides Normal Mode and Common Mode protection for line to neutral, line to ground and neutral to ground. The 3800 modules feature compact "black box" styling. Three modules are available: DIN-rail mounting, terminal block wiring or wire leads. The Cat No. 3800 Equipment-Cabinet Surge Protective Devices (SPD) are designed for use on 120V single-phase AC power lines. The 3800-OWM, DIN and OEM modules feature a green LED monitor to indicate loss of protection. (Light out indicates that protection is lost, replace unit.) In the event protection is lost, unit will continue to provide power to connected loads. These devices are UL Recognized Component TVSS 1449 Standard. The Cat.
