4950-PS Seven-Outlet Plug-Strip with 6 Foot Cord
The 4950 series comprises Computer Grade plug-strips which provide excellent surge protection and EMI/RFI noise attenuation for microprocessor-driven electronic equipment. All models feature seven protected outlets (six switched, one continuously live) with three-stage protection between line and neutral, neutral and ground, and line and ground; also features a built-in overload circuit-breaker with reset button. Indicator lights for ‘Protection’ and ‘Ground’ confirm that the unit is operating and properly grounded; an audible alarm indicates if protection is no longer active.
The 4950 Series plug-strips feature Leviton’s Limited Lifetime Warranty, and are offered in three versions; basic seven-outlet plug-strip with 6 foot or 15 foot cord; seven-outlet plug-strip with two RJ11 phone jacks for telephone line protection; or seven outlet plug-strip with two F-type coaxial connectors for CATV protection. All units feature a high-impact plastic housing.
The maximum single-pulse transient current (NM/CM) is 13000A/26000A. UL 1449 clamping level (all modes) is 330 volts and energy rating of 420 joules. Color: beige.
