Single-mode Fiber Optic Cable Assemblies (patch cords) are designed to patch and connect fiber cabling systems.

    LC built on 1.6mm cable

    Single-mode OFNR yellow fiber optic cable

    Ultra Physical Contact (UPC), and Angle Physical Contact (APC)

    DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS
    • Standard or hybrid connector styles
    • Insertion loss guaranteed to be less than .5dB at 1310nm and 1550nm per mated pair, typical insertion loss .3 dB
    • All connectors have precision pre-radiused zirconia ferrules
    • ST and FC connectors have metal bodies
    • Return loss for UPC polish greater than 55dB, typical 57dB
    • Return loss for APC polish greater than 65dB, typical 67dB
    • Corning glass fiber is standard

    Patch cords meet an optical return loss equal to or better than 55dB for UPC polish, or 65dB for APC polish. The fiber optic cable assembly insertion loss averages .3dB, but does not exceed .5dB at 1310nm and 1550nm per mated pair. Fiber optic cable assembly is OFNR, yellow fiber optic cable. Cords are available in 1, 2, 3, 5 and 10 meter lengths and are compliant with TIA/EIA-568-B.3.
