Honeywell’s HQM30E e-Series monochrome quad provides a high performance yet cost-effective processing solution for many standard four camera video installations.
The HQM30E incorporates an advanced digital video ASIC performing real time processing on the four monochrome camera inputs. The unit combines state-of-the-art technology along with enhanced video memory processing to provide high quality images without video aliasing or flickering. The HQM30E features Automatic Gain Control to maintain constant video images, regardless of incoming signal strength.
The HQM30E is very user-friendly and contains an extremely intuitive user interface. To obtain a full frame view of any specific camera simply press the camera number on the front panel. A dedicated button selects either quad view or sequenced view. In the quad view all four cameras are simultaneously displayed on one screen. The sequenced view displays full screen views of each individual camera followed by a quad display of all four cameras. In the sequenced view mode the user can select an interval between views of either three, six, or nine seconds. No matter what view is selected, the HQM30E provides real time processing and display of camera images.
The On Screen Display (OSD) option shows the individual camera number on the quad or full screen view. This provides instant identification of the camera image. In addition, in the sequenced view mode the user can select either a three, six or nine second time between images.
With resolution of 704 x 480 pixels in EIA format (704 x 525 for CCIR) the HQM30E provides superior image quality for quad view, single view and sequence viewed images.
The HQM30E’s compact size will prove to be very convenient for the vast majority of standard four camera video installations. The convenient half-rack size allows placement of the two units on a rack shelf or stand-alone placement near the video monitor.
