The Pelco CM6700-MXB2 is a highly versatile, full featured cross point matrix switcher. It provides switching and control for up to 16 video inputs and up to 2 monitor outputs from any one of up to 8 keyboards. An on-screen menu offers simple and easy programming options including time and date, operation mode, and a 20-character title for quick identification of cameras and devices. Characters are displayed in white with black outline for viewing in varying light conditions. This unit is factory configured with rack ears for 19'' 2 RUs rack mounting. These rack ears can be removed for wall or desk mounting.

16 Inputs, 2 Outputs

Provides switching and control for up to 16 video inputs and up to 2 monitor outputs from any one of up to 8 keyboards. Camera control is via RS-422 or via Pelco's Coaxitron control protocol. This unit also supports Pelco's RS-422 D or P protocol.

Remote Operation

Supports remote operation via optional desktop keyboards or external computer systems.

Looping Inputs

Each camera input can be individually selected for terminating or looping input by setting jumpers on the motherboard.

Alarm

Accepts display call-up from 18 direct-connect alarm inputs. In the event of an alarm, this unit auto switches the affected camera to the selected monitors. Alarms are cleared by keyboard acknowledgment or will self timeout after contact deactivation.

On-Screen Menu

An easy to use on-screen menu offers programming both in English and Spanish and includes time and date, operation mode, camera number and 20-character title identification for each camera. The display can be located anywhere on the screen and can be turned on and off.

Password Protection

Employs a password authentication system for protection from unauthorized use.
