A Pelco CM9760 Matrix system offers the best solution for security installations needing to manage the viewing and control of a large number of analog CCTV cameras. A few good examples that come to mind include gaming casinos, department stores, cruise ships and high rise office buildings.

Essentially, the CM9760 Matrix is made up of two key components -a computer that does all the processing and a switching bay where all the physical connections take place. When fully configured, the CM9760 Matrix can be used by as many as 100 operators to view and control up to 2048 cameras and 512 monitors. This can be further expanded by connecting individual Matrix systems (Nodes) to each other (up to 24).

Factory Configured & Tested:

This system ships pre-configured, pre-tested and pre-packaged from Pelco. What this means to you is that you'll be getting a high performance system that you can count on to deliver long term dependable operation of the level expected even in the most demanding security environments.

Keyboard Controlled System:

All system controls are accessed using a Pelco keyboard controller device (not included). With the controller, you'll be able to select images from any camera or group of cameras for viewing on any monitor or group of monitors. You'll also be able to access a PTZ dome camera's full range of manual and automatic controls. By adding the optional Coaxitron translator, you'll be able to do all this over the camera's BNC video cable.

User Expandable System:

In designing the CM9760 Matrix, Pelco had one chief thing in mind -easy expandability. That's why you can start with as few as 16 video inputs, and as you acquire additional cameras, install more modules accordingly. Pelco also offers a myriad of optional components, serving to enhance or broaden system performance. These include a backup CPU, alarm functions, DVR access, network capability and redundant power supplies for the switching bay, to name a few.

Logical Camera Selection:

Instead of having to recall a bunch of numbers, you can assign an easy to remember description for a camera based on that camera's function. For example, you can name a camera aimed at a cash register "Cash Register Camera ".
