Pelco's DF8CB-1V50A combines a camera, lens, and dome housing in a single package, saving you the time and effort involved in putting together a system on your own. To speed up installation, the camera comes pre-fitted with the lens, and is also pre-adjusted for backfocus.

For added convenience, Pelco designed the dome so that the bubble can be easily removed (DF8 series only) for quick camera and lens access during installation and servicing. Positioning the camera inside the dome is also a quick and easy process thanks to an internal versatile fixed bracket providing 360° of possible horizontal camera orientation.

Another great benefit of the DomePak design is that, unlike integrated-style domes, all of its three major components (camera, lens, dome) are also available for separate purchase. This way you can easily swap, replace or upgrade a particular component of the DomePak without having to purchase a whole new system, thus preserving at least part of your original investment.

DomePaks are available in many different configurations and with a variety of mounting options to suit virtually any surveillance environment and installation requirement. Both the DF5 and DF8 series DomePaks were also designed to cosmetically match the Spectra series so that they will easily blend in with an existing Pelco security installation. Camera:

High Resolution with Extended Dynamic Range (EDR):

In addition to its high resolution of 480 TVL, the CC3701H-2 camera contained in this package comes equipped with a sophisticated Extended Dynamic Range (EDR) operating at 12x capacity. EDR is similar to WDR technology in that it aides the camera in correcting high contrast and backlit images.

Dome:

Installs in a Hard or Drop Ceiling:

The DF8 series in-ceiling models can be readily installed in hard ceilings or optionally in standard 2 x 2' (61 x 61cm) suspended ceilings (requires DF8A-R support rails). This compact dome requires as little as 5.2" (13.2cm) of overhead space above the ceiling for installation. The back box is formed aluminum construction and is plenum rated. Multiple cable hole plugs are positioned in the top and sides of the back box and can be removed to allow cables to be run from any direction.

Cosmetically Matches Spectra Dome: Pelco designed the DF5 and DF8 series DomePaks with the same style as the Spectra series domes so that they will blend in with an existing security environment.
