The Pelco DF8CB-PB-0V50 DomePak (Pendant, Smoked, 5-50mm) consists of a CC3701H-2 digital CCD color camera, a black pendant mount (indoor), a black opaque dome with smoked window (f/0.7 light loss), and a 5-50mm varifocal lens with a relative aperture of f/1.4-close to f/1.4-185.
The CC3701H-2 Digital CCD Color Camera has a 1/3" CCD imager and offers a resolution up to 480 TV lines. With a minimum illumination requirement of 0.5 lux, the camera is suited for low-level night time surveillance, and the extended dynamic range (12x) ensures clear image quality in extreme light conditions. The camera accepts manual iris lenses, and has adjustable back focus to support all C/CS mount lenses. In addition to the 10x zoom ratio, the camera features manual focus and zoom. The lockable thumb wheel is accessible from the top or bottom of the camera and makes for easy back focus adjustment.
The camera features 2 color balance settings, digital signal processing, and line lock - resetting the DIP switch on the left side of the camera allows you to adjust the fine tuning of the corresponding feature.
Automatic gain control adjusts the signal strength to maintain a constant brightness level. Automatic backlight compensation adjusts video gain to correct the exposure when the object being captured is in front of a bright light source.
With the black pendant mount (indoor), the camera can be mounted directly to any mount, flush to a ceiling, or to 1.5" NPT female pipe threads. The black opaque dome with smoked window (with an f/0.7 light loss) ensures high optical clarity.
