Pelco's DF8CL-PG-E0V3A combines a camera, lens, and dome housing in a single package, saving you the time and effort involved in putting together a system on your own. To speed up installation, the camera comes pre-fitted with the lens, and is also pre-adjusted for backfocus.

For added convenience, Pelco designed the dome so that the bubble can be easily removed (DF8 series only) for quick camera and lens access during installation and servicing. Positioning the camera inside the dome is also a quick and easy process thanks to an internal versatile fixed bracket providing 360° of possible horizontal camera orientation.

Another great benefit of the DomePak design is that, unlike integrated-style domes, all of its three major components (camera, lens, dome) are also available for separate purchase. This way you can easily swap, replace or upgrade a particular component of the DomePak without having to purchase a whole new system, thus preserving at least part of your original investment.

DomePaks are available in many different configurations and with a variety of mounting options to suit virtually any surveillance environment and installation requirement. Both the DF5 and DF8 series DomePaks were also designed to cosmetically match the Spectra series so that they will easily blend in with an existing Pelco security installation. LowLight DSS Technology:

Designed and manufactured in the USA, the CC3751H-2 color camera contained in this package has extended digital slow shutter (DSS) settings to slow the picture frame rate and increase the camera's sensitivity in low light conditions. Light sensitivity increases as the number of fields of integration increase. The camera has four DSS settings:

Off to disable the DSS mode
Four fields of integration maximum (1/15-second update rate)
Fifteen fields of integration maximum (1/4-second update rate)
Thirty fields of integration maximum (1/2-second update rate)

Dome:

Versatile Mounting Options:

The DF8 series pendant models mount directly to any recommended mount, flush to a ceiling, or to 1.5" NPT female pipe threads. They are available in a black or gray finish for indoor applications or gray only for environmental applications. The environmental domes include a sun shield and heater kit and are suitable for use in temperatures to -60°F (-51°C). Optional wall (IWM series / MRWA) and ceiling (MRCA) mounts/adapters are available for the pendant models. Also available is a 2 x 2' (61 x 61cm) aluminum faceplate (DF8A-P) for suspended ceiling applications. It replaces an existing ceiling tile. Support rails (DF8A-R) are available for supporting the dome in suspended or hard ceiling installations.

Weather Resistant Dome with Heater/Blower:

This dome can be safely installed in an outdoor location, with its sealed enclosure and built-in heater module providing proper weather protection in temperatures as low as -60 °F (-51 °C). Furthermore, the heater prevents icing at a sustained minimum of -50°F (-45 °C), and de-ices 0.1" (2.5mm) within 3 hours after power up.

Cosmetically Matches Spectra Dome: Pelco designed the DF5 and DF8 series DomePaks with the same style as the Spectra series domes so that they will blend in with an existing security environment.
