The Pelco ES3012-2KWZ30PW ImagePak combines an Esprit positioning system with a box camera, motorized zoom lens, and mount (where applicable) in a single package. To expedite installation, the camera comes pre-installed inside the housing and with the lens already attached to it. The Esprit system itself consists of an outdoor housing mounted on a P/T unit offering a range of motorized pan and tilt camera orientation including 360° of pan and 64 preset positions.
Together with the motorized zoom lens, this system offers functions similar to that of a PTZ camera. But unlike a dome camera, this system is developed for maximum visibility and is of the type often employed to secure toll plazas, government facilities, and border crossings.
To keep up with these types of environments, Pelco developed this unit with a durable P/T mechanism and a tough exterior meeting NEMA and IP66 standards. As a result this system is able to withstand and remain operational harsh weather conditions including extreme cold and hurricane force winds while requiring little in the way of maintenance.

Day/Night & Wide Dynamic Range:
The CCC1390H-6 camera contained in this package has two of the most important features necessary for a security camera-a Day/Night function and WDR.
The Day/Night function auto switches the camera from color during the day to B/W video at night while removing an IR filter from the front of the CCD. The result is markedly brighter pictures during nighttime hours.
Wide Dynamic Range deals with exposure problems associated with high contrast images. WDR corrects this by separately processing the bright and dark areas of the image, and then combining the two to produce a well defined image that is neither over nor under exposed.
