Pelco's G2512-0AMR3AK ImagePak combines a camera, housing, and lens in a single kit, saving you the time and effort involved in putting together an outdoor camera system on your own.
To speed up the installation process, the camera comes pre-fitted with the lens, and is also pre-adjusted for backfocus. You'll also appreciate the way the camera can be easily inserted and removed from the housing via a T-handle assisted mounting sled.
Aside from these convenience factors there's also value in this kit, as all Pelco ImagePaks are offered at a discounted package price. Another great benefit of the ImagePak design is that, unlike integrated-style cameras, all of its major components are also available for separate purchase. This way you can easily swap, replace or upgrade a particular component of the ImagePak without having to purchase a whole new system, thus preserving at least part of your original investment.
ImagePaks are available in many different configurations to suit virtually any lighting or scene requirement. And with a name like Pelco you can be sure that whatever configuration you choose to go with, you can count on it to deliver the level of performance and integrity necessary to properly secure a business or home environment.
Camera
Optimized for Day & Night Surveillance The included C10DN-6 camera is Pelco's smallest, day/night camera. Its day/night technology provides outstanding performance over a wide range of lighting conditions. The camera uses a removable infrared (IR) cut filter to switch between color and black-white (B-W) modes as environmental lighting conditions change, and the need for infrared sensitivity is realized.
The C10DN-6 is an ultra high resolution digital camera with 540 TVL of resolution and 0.3 lux minimum illumination in day mode and 0.07 lux in night mode. Camera features include autosensing power (24 VAC with internal line lock or 12 VDC with internal synchronization), automatic gain control (AGC), electronic shutter control (ESC), and flickerless mode. The camera also includes automatic white balance (AWB) for difficult lighting situations, and backlight compensation (BLC) that adjusts the picture to prevent objects from appearing dark due to a strong backlight. These fine tuning features are easily set using the on-screen menus.
