The Pelco EH3500 ImagePak Hi-Res Compact D/N Camera Kit (2.5-6mm Lens) consists of EH3512-2 enclosure, C10DN-6 day/night camera, 13VD2.5-6 varifocal lens, and EM1450 wall mount.
The EH3512-2 is an indoor/outdoor 24VAC enclosure with built-in heater, blower, and defroster. The thermostatically controlled heater activates at 50°F (10°C) and switches off at 80°F (27°C), while the defroster operates continuously. With die-cast and extruded aluminum construction and gray polyester powder coat, the corrosion-resistant enclosure can withstand operating temperatures ranging from -10 -120°F (-23 -49°C). The removable camera sled inside the enclosure can be easily accessed via the front hinged lid and the link-lock latch at the rear can be padlocked for security. The camera sled has multiple holes and can be inverted for additional camera elevation. Two adjustable (PG13.5) glands on the bottom make installation of power and video cables easy. The enclosure is CE-compliant, UL/cUL-listed and meets NEMA Type 4 and IP66 standards.
The C10DN-6 day/night camera has a 1/3" CCD color image sensor and offers a high resolution of 540TVL. With a minimum illumination of 0.3 lux (color mode) and 0.07 lux (B&W mode), the camera is suited for low-level night time surveillance. The camera uses a removable IR cut filter to switch between color and B&W mode as per the changes in ambient lighting. The compact camera has a standard CS lens mount, and can be used with fixed, manual, or auto iris (DC or video drive) lenses.
Area masking, titling, pixel correction, and preset lighting profiles can be selected through the on-screen menu, using the side joystick. Automatic gain control adjusts the signal strength to maintain a constant brightness level. Backlight compensation adjusts video gain to correct the exposure when the object being captured is in front of a bright light source. Auto white balance takes a standard white color reference to adjust the RGB (red, green, and blue) colors to produce good quality images in a wide range of lighting conditions. The auto iris is controlled through a standard 4-pin square connector (included).
The camera features ESC (Electronic Shutter Control), flicker-less mode, and autosensing power (24VAC with internal line lock or 12VDC with internal synchronization) and offers long distance cable compensation.
Connecting via the included 4-pin plug, the 13VD2.5-6 varifocal lens is a CS mount lens that features a direct-drive auto iris and has 2.4x optical zoom (manual). The manual focus lens comes with a spot filter and has a focal length of 2.5-6mm. A relative aperture size between f/1.4 and f/125 allows the intraspot-type lens to perform across a wide range of lighting conditions.
The EM1450 is made from die-cast aluminum with gray polyester powder coat finish for indoor/outdoor use. The light-duty wall mount supports a maximum load of 20 lb (9 kg) and can also be used for pole mounting with the PA101 adaptor. The enclosure is mechanically positioned on the adjustable head.
