Pelco's remote monitor kit (IPS-RMK), remote data port (IPS-RDPE-2), and remote monitor cable (IPS-CABLE) are ?eld service tools designed to assist in the installation and servicing of Spectra , ExSite , Esprit , or any pan/tilt that uses Pelco's D protocol. Use these tools at the installation site to observe video, verify the operation of the PTZ controls, check the address and baud settings, and program the positioning system. Software upgrades also can be performed with Spectra/Spectra Mini domes and ExSite systems.
The IPS-RMK is a complete kit consisting of a 5.6-inch, TFT-LCD, battery-powered monitor; PDA handheld; carrying case; interface cables (including the IPS-CABLE and IPS-MINIADPT); and software. The kit plugs directly into the RJ-45 port of the Spectra dome drive or the data port of the Spectra Mini dome drive for full control, setup, and upgrade capabilities. The IPS-RMK, when used with an IPS-RDPE-2, can also control pan/tilt/zoom functions and program a Spectra, ExSite, or Esprit positioning system or any other system that accepts Pelco's D protocol.
