Description

The Pelco IX10C12EK ImagePak Sarix Network Color Camera (2.8-12mm Lens,Smoked) with a 1/3" CMOS image sensor (1.3 MP) delivers clear images in MJPEG and H.264 formats at a resolution of 1280 x 1024. With Lowlight technology and minimum illumination of 0.50 lux, the camera can generate clear images even in low light conditions. The Sarix technology includes a consistent color science feature, which offers highest degree of sensitivity by multiplying and averaging the available light per pixel, useful for subject tracking.

An automatic back focus control feature makes for easy installation and sharp scene focus setup while the video setup jack eliminates the need to use a laptop for viewing video during installation of the camera. Power is supplied to the camera through PoE; hence, the camera gets power from the network itself without any extra wiring for auxiliary power outlets. The Sarix color camera comes with the standard Camera Sabotage behavior feature, which detects contrast changes in the field-of-view. Whenever the camera or lens is tampered or obstructed with spray paint, cloth, or covered with a lens cap, an alarm is triggered.

The Sarix camera supports standard web browser for powerful remote setup and administration and allows you to view up to 16 cameras on the same network. A Window Blanking function conceals up to 4 blocks (solid gray window) that an operator is restricted from viewing. The Sarix Network Color Camera can be easily connected to Pelco IP and hybrid systems such as Endura version 2.0 or higher and Digital Sentry version 4.2 or higher. It also supports open architecture connectivity for third-party applications and an API (Application Programming Interface) for interfacing with Pelco's network cameras. With the wide Dynamic Range (60dB), the camera produces sharp images even when the field-of-view has contrasting lighting conditions.

The 13M2.8-12 Megapixel Lens offers 4.3x zoom ratio and a focal length of 2.8-12 mm. With a resolving power of up to 100 lines/mm, the lens offers optimal results when used in cameras with megapixel sensors. The lens can be adjusted to achieve the exact field-of-view and can be connected via the included standard 4-pin plug. The CS mount-type lens has a relative aperture size between f/1.4 and f/2.7, which allows it to perform across a wide range of lighting conditions.

The aspherical elements reduce the level of distortions to produce sharpness at the image borders. Equipped with a slip mechanism, the megapixel lens can be easily adjusted and rotated within the enclosure and dome. It has a special coating that prevents light reflection.

The in-ceiling fixed dome (8") is designed for use with cameras and lens up to 9" (22.86 cm) in length when tilted 30 downward and also allows for 360 horizontal positioning. It can be easily installed in hard ceilings or suspended ceilings [2 x 2' (61 x 61cm)] and has multiple cable hole plugs in the top and sides of the back box, which can be removed to allow cable to be run from any direction. Made of aluminum with plenum rating, the dome is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
