The Pelco NET300R MPEG-4 IP Video Receiver performs the function of receiving live video and control data over Ethernet networks. This unit works in conjunction with the NET300T video transmitter to enable two-way video transmission. This unit can be used as a standalone receiver for a camera in the absence of a BNC cable.
While the transmitter encodes video and control data to be transmitted over an IP network, the NET300R MPEG-4 IP video receiver decodes the data that is received from the network. It is connected to an analog monitor for previewing the video data. The video can also be viewed on a PC in an Internet browser such as Internet Explorer.
Receiving video data over a computer network through the NET300R MPEG-4 IP video receiver results in cost savings, as existing networks can be used to monitor even a remote location without extra cabling. Since the Intranet is utilized, there is no cost incurred in data transmission; usage of a single network also lowers management/maintenance costs.
The operating temperature of the video receiver is 32 to 122°F (0 to 50°C).
The MPEG-4 IP video receiver is certified by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and CE as a Class B device. The Radio Frequency (RF) emissions from the device fall within the safe zone and do not interfere with the working of other electronic devices such as televisions.
