The Pelco Spectra IV SE 35x Pressurized Dome System (Environmental Pendant, Smoked Dome) includes an environmental pendant style, pressurized back box, a smoked lower dome with 35x day/night camera and 62.5/125?m multi-mode fiber cable with an ST-type connector. Suitable for industrial, traffic and marine applications, the pressurized dome system delivers high-quality video in the harsh conditions.
The camera optics and electronics inside the self-contained, sealed unit are protected from moisture and airborne contaminants. Dry nitrogen pressurized to 8 psig keeps the cartridge free from internal condensation and corrosion. A drop in internal pressure, temperature, or dew point beyond factory-set, acceptable limits causes the sensors in the cartridge to send out an alert. The sensors allow for instant on-screen display of temperature, pressure, and dew point. The system also has on-screen programmable menus for pan/tilt, camera, and sensor alert settings.

The back box is equipped with a sun shroud, heater, and fan to maintain a consistent operating environment. It also includes a built-in memory, an integrated passive UTP circuit, 2 auxiliary outputs, and 7 alarm inputs.
The lower dome has an O-ring seal and stainless steel V-band that has a unique latching system with a captivated fastener that makes installation easy. The lower dome trim ring has 2 brass valves -a Schrader valve for system purging and a pressure relief valve.
The DD4CBW35 day/night camera has a 1/4" EXview HAD image sensor and offers a high resolution of 540TVL with a 2:1 interlace scanning system. The camera provides high-quality images even in low-light conditions with its 128x wide dynamic range and has a varifocal lens with a focal length of 3.4-119 mm at f/1.4 and 35x optical zoom.
Auto white balance takes a standard white color reference to adjust the RGB (red, green, and blue) colors to produce good quality images in a wide range of lighting conditions. Automatic iris control adjusts the amount of light passing through the lens. The AC line lock is used to eliminate timing discrepancies in H/V sync that cause picture interruptions at the switching point.
In addition to its auto-focus and image enhancement features, the camera also has an electronic image stabilization that eliminates vibrations caused by moving traffic or strong winds.
With the help of the 9/125?m single-mode fiber cable with an ST-type connector, Pelco's FS85011 fiber optic transmission board and third-party fiber optic transmitters can be installed inside the back box.
The system also has a pre-wired cable with nickel-plated steel mating connector that includes all wires for system functionality including power, alarms, auxiliaries, coaxial video, UTP video, and serial control. The back box and lower dome are made of stainless steel, which makes for added protection in harsh environments; the lower dome bubble is made of polycarbonate that makes it temperature resistant and impact resistant. Within 3 hours of starting up, the system can de-ice and be operational from a temperature of -60°F (-51.11°C). With certifications/ratings such as CE-Class B, FCC-Class B, and UL/cUL-listings, the system also meets NEMA Type 6P and IP67 standards.
