The Pelco Spectra IV IP Horizon 35x Dome System (Environmental, Smoked Dome) includes an in-ceiling environmental black box, a Day/Night Camera, and smoked lower dome. The system is used to control and monitor video over IP networks as well as allows you to view and control analog video while viewing, recording, and controlling network IP video.
Built-in 100Base-TX network interface enables live streaming to any network application. Open architecture connectivity for third-party software recording solutions allows integration into any IP-based system. The system is compatible with Digital Sentry video management systems and when connected to an Endura network-based video security system, the dome system can access EnduraStor and EnduraView for optimized image quality and bandwidth efficiency.
The environmental in-ceiling back box can be discreetly installed in hard ceiling applications. It has a built-in memory that stores camera and location-specific dome settings such as labels, patterns, presets and zoom. The aluminum back box is equipped with a heater and fan to maintain a consistent operating environment. It also features a quick disconnect system, which makes drive installation or replacement quick and easy. The lower dome bubble, specially designed for optimal relationship with the lens, causes f/0.5 light loss and facilitates clear videos even at long focal lengths.
A 1/4" EXview HAD image sensor in the Day/Night camera offers a high resolution of 540TVL with 2:1 interlace scanning. With 128x wide dynamic range, the camera provides high-quality images even in low light conditions. It has a varifocal lens with a focal length of 3.4-119 mm at f/1.4 and a 35x optical zoom. The on-screen compass, tilt, and zoom display feature helps in determining positions.
Zone blanking will blank out an entire area or zone (which is set by a system operator) to eliminate any unnecessary video information from being processed, thus decreasing video traffic over a network. Up to 8 zones can be programmed to output blank video for areas not requiring video surveillance.
The blank video output can be with or without labels; each label has a maximum limit of 20 characters. A Window Blanking function blocks up to 8 user-defined, 4-sided shapes from being viewed by the operator.
The auto-focus feature automatically focuses the camera on to the selected object or area. Auto white balance takes a standard white color reference to adjust the RGB (red, green, and blue) colors to produce good quality images in a wide range of lighting conditions. Automatic iris control adjusts the amount of light passing through the lens. AC line lock is used to eliminate timing discrepancies in H/V sync that cause picture interruptions at the switching point. In addition to image enhancement, the camera also has electronic image stabilization that counters the vibrations caused by moving traffic or strong winds.
With certifications/ratings such as CE, Class B, FCC, Class B, UL/cUL-listed, and C-Tick, and S Mark for Argentina. The system also meets NEMA Type 1, IP40 standards and U.S. Patents D457, 904 and D460, 978.
