These models are designed specifically for protecting digital video recorders and multiplexers. Nine or eighteen BNC connectors are provided for convenient connection of coaxial cables from cameras. Overvoltage protection is provided by inductive traces, groundplanes and sidactors, while self-resetting fuses and current limiting circuitry protect against overcurrent. The products are available in desktop (plastic case), rack mount and board only versions.

Z Series surge suppressors are provided in a sturdy plastic housing. Varying combinations of technologies (Tranzorbs, MOVs, Sidactors and self-resetting SmartFuses) are used to provide optimum protection for each application. The Protects up to 9 video inputs of a DVR or multiplexers.
