The A-BUS Distributed Audio system from Suttle is simple to use and install, and offers a better way to bring music to any and every room of the home. A-BUS is the patented and award-winning Multi-room audio solution that has become the standard in the structured wiring industry as well as the custom installation arena. The Audio interface module takes line-level audio, IR, and source on/off status from a central source (i.e., PC, TV, CD player, etc.) over CAT5 (or better) cabling to amplified volume controls - eliminating the need for a separate amplifier. Simply run one CAT5 or better cable from the 4-zone distribution module in the enclosure to a standard network jack near the main audio input, and another cable from each output to a volume control or volume control and local source input in each zone. 16 gauge Speaker wire is then run from each volume control to speakers in that zone
