ADEMCO’s series of hold-up devices have been designed for silent operation. Available in a stainless steel cover or hardwired, V-Plex and wireless versions, they mount quickly and easily in discreet locations. They are ideally suited for use in locations such as banks, jewelry stores, retail establishments or any situation that requires hold-up notification.

The 5800SS1 Wireless Shock Sensor mounts directly on glass surfaces. It provides excellent detection for all types of glass while eliminating false alarms and is intended for use with ADEMCO’s 5800 wireless systems only. The 5800SS1 is especially effective in acoustically hard, reverberant rooms like kitchens, bathrooms and laundry rooms that are prone to false alarms.

Since it is a shock sensor, the 5800SS1 is immune to the sounds that cause false alarms. Installation is a snap, just pull the battery tab to enroll the transmitter, peel the adhesive backing and mount. There’s no need to open the case for any reason except to change the battery years later.
