The HSR-J2009 and HSR-2016 digital hard disc recorders utilize JPEG 2000 codec and achieve a 20 percent reduction in file size compared to JPEG. Each combines the functions of a recorder and multiplexer in a single unit and include a pre-installed 500GB HDD.

Other powerful features include Programmed Recording, Alarm Recording, Activity Detection, Intelligent Search, and a built-in Compact Flash (CF) card slot. They are ideal for a wide range of monitoring application including banks, airports, government facilities, retail locations and schools.

The HSR-J2009 unit integrates a 9-channel multiplexer that supports multi-screen images across two monitors. The HSR-2016's multiplexer has a 16-channel capacity. Each provides IP network monitoring capabilities allowing up to five users access live images remotely. Up to two can simultaneously review recordings. All can independently select image size for remote viewing.
