The remote Glass Break Detector can be placed up to 2000 feet away from the tattletale depending on structures and objects in between it and the tattletale. It is highly sensitive to the sound of breaking glass and has a coverage area of 20' by 360°. The 3V lithium battery that is included will typically last for 2-3 years.

When a base station and accessories are bought individually they are not programmed to work with each other.

Then, you must call tattletale with the serial number on the base unit to obtain the “house code” for that unit…

You then need to enter the house code into the programmer to program the accessory to match the base unit.
