Terminus Fence Kit for corner/gate posts – SP2539
The SP2539 is usually used for corner posts. For straight sections of fence, it is often more convenient to use the SP3223 fence kit. The SP2539 is designed to be used with the SP3968 Single Zone Processor, SP3274 Four Zone Processor and the SP3273 Four Zone Expander.

Terminus UL-Listed Pass-Thru Fence Kit is for use on in-line posts with a standard fence kit available for corner/gate posts. The kits become part of the-fence and signal an alarm when someone climbs, cuts or lifts the fence fabric. Each kit
contains a shock sensor, a molded insert and a condulet housing with weep hole to vent moisture and is available with ― or ū-inch threads. The unique condulet housing eliminates T-fittings by allowing the conduit to be mounted to a fence with
minimal bending, saving labor and material costs. A fence post mounting clamp is included.

Also available is a spacer that allows the fence kit to be flush mounted on surfaces such as brick or cinder block walls, or metal buildings. Enclosed in the fence kit housing are Terminus shock sensors which contain two sets of contacts that must be activated simultaneously to signal an alarm. This dual contact technology reduces false alarms caused by failure of the single contact. The shock waves produced by an intruder cause the dual elements to momentarily bounce off gold plated electrical contacts. The multiple open circuits send a signal to a Terminus electronic processor which analyzes and then reports its status to the main alarm control panel.

Terminus processors allow the installer to separately program the system to respond only to the condition(s) deemed by the system user to be an actual alarm that requires action. Pedestrian traffic, vehicular movement or other ambient conditions are factors that can be taken into account when programming the processor, virtually eliminating nuisance alarms. The processor also allows the system user to pinpoint the area of alarm, a requirement for larger fences.

All metal components are gold plated and hermetically sealed against dust and moisture to rigid ASTM standards, eliminating corrosion from liquid or vapor contaminants. Engineered for severe outdoor environments, the fence kits are completely reliable between -40 deg F to 160 deg F. These rugged kits are successfully protecting many miles of chain link fence.

The Terminus Fence Intrusion Detection System utilizes shock sensors to detect the vibrations associated with intrusion attempts. Cutting the fence fabric, climbing the fence, and lifting the fence material produce these mechanical vibrations in the fence material. These vibrations are detected by Terminus shock sensors, which send the signals to a Terminus processor where the information is analyzed.

Do not wire the sensor loop to a PAC-A-DAP Processor since it does not have the adjustments needed to provide accurate signal processing for fence applications. Also, they do not have the lightning protection needed for outside security devices.

The SP2539 sensor will operate over a temperature range of -40º to 120º Fahrenheit.
