Standard Features CX-502 Series

    CX-502AM Features

  • Anti-Masking (Patent Pending) - By providing two photoelectric detection beams, operating in different directions, the CX-502AM unlike other Anti-masking PIRs detects masking both directly to the lens surface and also shielding in front of the PIR. Either of these actions will generate a trouble signal.

  • Self-Checking - Activates a trouble signal if CX-502AM's sensing ability is not circuits. The Sensor and Signal Processing Circuit are automatically checked once every 5 hours and also when the alarm system is armed (a compatible control panel is necessary to send an arming signal to the CX-502AM's alarm memory input).

  • Initial Alarm Memory - This function is indicated by a red LED and memorizes which detector was first triggered when several detectors are connected in one alarm loop.
