The Model D-21A Normally Open Wall-mount Transmitter has a normally open input circuit that operates in conjunction with an externally mounted normally open magnetic or mechanical contact. When the external contact closes, the transmitter automatically transmits a two-second digitally coded signal to a companion standard digital receiver. Pressing the test pushbutton on the front of the transmitter will also cause the transmitter to send a signal. Each transmission causes the red LED indicator on the front of the transmitter to light, showing that the transmitter is sending a signal and that the battery is in good condition.

The Model D-23R Bill Trap Transmitter is a unique device used in banks and other places where cash is handled in sizable quantities. Baited with currency, the transmitter is hidden beneath the stack of bills in a cash drawer. Removing the "bait" bill from the holding clip transmitts a signal which is repeated at 45-second intervals until the bait bill is replaced (the repeat timer can be disabled by cutting an internal jumper). Operating in conjunction with a suitable receiver, this transmitter sends signals which are used to trigger alarms and other security devices, such as video cameras. Completely portable, the D-23R works even when cash drawers are being moved, if it remains within RF range of the receiver. The Model DXS-10 Supervised Remote Keypad adds remote control to DVS-1200, DVS-2400 and DUAL-824 Security Systems. The wireless keypad transmitter controls all of the system's modes and can trigger the fire and emergency zones.

The keypad can be used on a table top or wall mounted and is powered by a 9-volt battery. If the battery becomes low, the keypad will send low battery reports to the system.

The Model DXS-21 Supervised 2-Button, 1-Channel Handheld Transmitter is a supervised, digitally coded radio transmitter designed for use with Linear's DX and DXS Format receivers. Pressing a button on the transmitter sends a digitally coded wireless signal to its companion receiver. To send a complete signal, press the transmitter button for a minimum of 2 seconds. The top button can be hidden with the top button cover supplied.

The DXS-21 is a two-button, one-code transmitter. Pressing either the round button on the transmitter's front, or the small button on the transmitter's top will send the same signal.

The digital DXS code format features over a million possible codes. The DXS transmitters are precoded at the factory to unique codes, so no field coding is required and can send a signal for up to 10 seconds per activation.

The DXS-21 is supervised for low battery and sends hourly status reports. Some receivers are able to use these signals, others are not. Receivers must be programmed to the transmitter code before system testing and operation. Refer to the receiver's instructions for details on operation and programming.

Each DXS-21 is powered by two self-contained type 2032 3-volt lithium batteries (included). When the batteries voltage gets low, a low battery report is sent with any alarm or status report to notify the receiver. The red LED will blink when the transmitter is activated with low batteries.

A removable pocket clip and belt clip are provided for each transmitter. Either can be attached to the back of the transmitter allowing the unit to be clipped to shirt pocket or slid onto a belt.
