PERS-2400A: Personal Emergency Reporting System Supervised emergency reporting system receiver/control, monitors up to 16 transmitters, can be manually activated, activity timer option, two-way voice option, point-ID reporting allows multiple users.The Model PERS-2400A Personal Emergency Reporting System is a supervised wireless emergency reporting product designed for medical alert applications. The table-top or wall-mount Console provides pushbutton emergency assistance to anyone who desires additional security and peace of mind. For the visually impaired, each button on the Console is molded with braille characters to identify the button’s function. The Console receives signals from up to 16 Linear wireless transmitters. Activating a transmitter causes the Console’s digital communicator to send the appropriate alarm report to the central monitoring station via the standard telephone network. In addition to the central station report, audible and visual indications occur and the alarm relay energizes during an emergency activation. The emergency alarm can be triggered by the large EMERGENCY button on the face of the Console or with a wireless transmitter. The fire alarm can be triggered by wireless smoke alarms. The table-top Console provides assistance to anyone who desires additional security and peace of mind. For the visually impaired, each button on the Console is molded with Braille characters to identify the button’s function. The console receives signals from up to 16 Linear wireless transmitters. Activating a transmitter causes the Console’s digital communicator to send the appropriate alarm report to the provider’s monitoring station via the standard telephone network. In addition to the monitoring station report, audible and visual indications occur and the alarm relay energizes during an emergency activation. Upon completion of the monitoring station report, two-way voice communications will automatically be initiated between the console and the provider’s operator. An emergency alarm can be triggered by the large HELP button located on the Console or by a wireless transmitter. A fire alarm can be triggered by optional wireless smoke detectors. Personal messages can be prerecorded and programmed into the PERS-3600 to remind the client to perform certain functions. “Take your medication”; “call your son” are just two examples of personal messages that can be incorporated into the PERS-3600. Reminder messages can be programmed to play at specific times during the day in daily, weekly, or monthly cycles.
