Eliminates traveling cables The wireless elevator control kit eliminates traveling cables to and from the elevator, significantly reducing installation time, cost and disruption. The elevator control kit includes a Wireless Reader Interface, Panel Interface Module, Indoor Remote Antenna and power supply.

All of the required components for gate and elevator access control are now prepackaged in convenient kit form. The Wireless Elevator Control Kits and Gate Control Kits provide access control at a fraction of the cost of traditional installations, and provide the major components in one easy-to-install package. The Kits are comprised of members of the Wireless Access product family, including a Wireless Reader Interface, Panel Interface Module and a Remote Antenna. A free power supply is also included in both Kits.

The GCK-101 kit eliminates the need for trenching for gate applications and the ECK-200 eliminates the need for traveling cables for elevator applications, reducing installation time and cost.

Another benefit is disruption is reduced dramatically. As installation times are reduced, the workforce can get back to normal faster and, since trenching is eliminated, landscape, parking lots, and roadways are left intact.

These kits provide real-time access control and are compatible with all brands of access control panels. With a range of up to 1000 feet line of sight for gates, these are ideal for garages, parking lots, airports, utility companies and military bases. Optional antennas are also available to double or quadruple the range to 4000 feet line of sight. The elevator kit can support elevator shafts up to 1000 feet.

Kits include a PIM-TD2 panel interface module, WRI-OTD-12VDC wireless reader interface, remote antenna, and a free 595PI-12DC power supply.

Security is also maintained as the WSM utilizes Spread Spectrum transmissions, which are encoded with 128-bit keys, to yield a system that is virtually uncompromisable. In addition, scalability is virtually unlimited as each Wireless Status Monitor has nearly a million addresses to choose from during the linking process.

The Wireless Portable Reader from Schlage is the right product to use when you simply need to validate an access control credential. Common applications include muster stations, check points, training attendance, special event access, perimeter expansion, and bus loading. A green light indicates a valid credential; a red light represents an invalid or denied credential. Since the WPR communicates in real time to an access control system, there are no databases to download either. Range in a typical building is about 200 feet including obstructions like cinderblock, brick, or plasterboard walls. Outdoors you can expect range of about 600 feet line of sight.
