DS294-RT (DIS240) Remote Test / Indicator Plate:
Provides an LED indication of the condition of, a signal voltage test point for, and a key operated test switch for the duct smoke detectors.

The DS294-RT provides visual status indication, remote test capability, and sensitivity monitoring. Do not exceed 100 ft. (30.5 m) between the DS294-RT and the detector housing and use #18 AWG (1.2 mm) or larger wire.

    The DS291 Air Duct Smoke Detector Housing is designed to mount to the ducts of HVAC systems to monitor the presence of smoke in the conditioned air. They are designed to operate on 24 VDC/VAC or 120 VAC. The efficient housing design samples the air passing through a duct and allows the detection of a potentially hazardous condition. When smoke is detected, the detector sends an alarm signal to the control panel and/or HVAC control equipment that will initiate the necessary action to control air-handling systems.
