Black Box USA AC074A-R3 2-Channel VGA Booster Black Box USA AC090A 4-Port XGA Video Splitter
The AC074A-R3 Includes (1) 6-ft. VGA input cable (male/male).

Features:

  • Add video splitters for up to 20 monitor outputs.
  • Includes a cable to connect your CPU to the booster.
  • Save money with our simplified cabling system.
  • Protect your CPU by securing it out of view and out of industrial environments.

Use the 2-Channel VGA Booster and put two color monitors where you want them. Then you can keep your CPUs in a safe, clean, central location for easy access—and away from prying fingers and dusty, industrial environments.

You can send VGA signals up to 700 feet (213.3 m) to each monitor. At 800 x 600 resolution, the booster extends XGA® and Super VGA signals 600 feet (182.8 m). At 1024 x 768 resolution, your distance limit is 500 feet (152.4 m). Because the outputs operate independently, you can use different cable lengths for each monitor. Just turn the two front-panel knobs to choose the cable length you need for each monitor.

The booster’s advanced circuitry also ensures that your VGA signal will be free of distortion, giving you clear, crisp images on your monitors. Plus, the circuitry reduces the number of connector wires required, so you save more money by using less cable.

The 2-Channel VGA Booster is plug-and-play easy—just plug in the cables and go.

Specifications:

  • Interface — VGA, Super VGA, XGA
  • Connectors — (3) HD15 F
  • Power — 120–230 VAC, 50–60 Hz, autosensing

  • Weight — 1.5 lb. (0.7 kg)
Features:

  • Shielded enclosure protects against EMI/RFI interference.
  • Resolutions up to 1600 x 1200.

Set up video displays throughout your retail establishment. Place monitors on a factory floor while keeping the CPU in a separate clean room. The 4-Port XGA Video Splitter supports distances of up to 600 feet (182.8 m) on two channels, enabling you to place monitors where you need them.

The 4-Port XGA Video Splitter enables you to connect up to four XGA or VGA monitors to a single CPU. All four channels support a standard distance of 100 to 200 feet (30.4 to 60.9 m), depending on the resolution. In addition, you can program two of the channels to support distances of up to 600 feet (182.8 m) without a video booster.

The splitter is easy to install—just plug it in and you’re ready to go. For longer distances, set the DIP switches on the box to drive long-distance signals through two ports. No software is needed.

The splitter supports resolutions of up to 1600 x 1200, and the 250-MHz bandwidth ensures clear images at any resolution.

Say goodbye to bulky, expensive, and difficult-to-terminate VGA cable. Use BLACK BOX® Mini CAT5 Extenders and Mini CAT5 Splitter/Extenders to set up video monitors up to 500 feet (152.4 m) at resolutions of 1024 x 768 at 60 Hz or up to 300 feet (91.4 m) at resolutions of 1600 x 1200 at 85 Hz from your PC or video source by using ordinary CAT5 UTP cable.

These extenders enable you to easily place video displays such as monitors or LCD screens where you need them to display information such as schedules, menus, or advertising.

They’re easy to install. Just plug a standard CAT5 cable, up to 500 feet long, between the two units. A pair of extenders requires only a single power supply, which can be plugged in at either end of the link. The extender/splitter requires a power supply at the transmitter end only to power a link to all connected receivers.

    Mini CAT5 Extender Kits:

  • Low-cost, single-channel extenders for sending video signal over CAT5 UTP.
  • The VGA kit formats a PC’s VGA signal for CAT5 transmission and converts the signal back to VGA for connecting a monitor or other display device at the receiver end.
  • The Component kit enables extensions between DVD players or other Component (RGB or Y-Pb-Pr, or Y-Cb-Cr) devices and compatible displays, such as HDTV monitors.

    Mini CAT5 Splitter/Extenders:

  • Send VGA video signals over CAT5 UTP to two or four monitors.
  • The 2-channel transmitter sends video to two remote displays; the 4-channel transmitter sends video up to four remote displays.
  • Order a separate receiver for each remote display.
  • A second VGA connection on the transmitter enables you to connect a local monitor.

    Ordering instructions:
To connect a single video source to a single receiver, order the AC504A or AC504A-CP
Or connect a single video source to multiple receivers, first order an AC600A or AC601A transmitter, then order one AC602A receiver for each connected video display.

    Specifications:

  • Distance (Maximum) — 300 ft. (91.4 m) at 1600 x 1200 resolution at 85 Hz; 500 ft. at 1024 x 768 resolution at 60 Hz

The Compact VGA Switches from Black Box go much farther than ordinary video switches in both the distance and resolution they support.

These solid-state, electronic switches not only use boosters to drive VGA video signals up to 150 feet (45.7 m), they also offer a crisp resolution of up to 1600 x 1200.

Use the switches, for instance, in a conference room where two or four laptop users can take turns projecting their screen images onto a single big-screen VGA monitor seen by all. They’re also useful anywhere you need to use fewer monitors for displaying video sources.

Control switching via an attached RS-232 device (serial control cable is included), or set it up to scan between VGA inputs at certain time intervals or display VGA inputs based on their priority. You can also blank output from one source or switch manually.
