MRK-1RK-48 Telephone Access Unit (48 Name Capability)
Mircom’s MRK-1RK Telephone Access Unit is designed to provide Resident/Visitor access control for buildings such as apartments, multi-dwellings, condominiums and offices. The enclosure is constructed of aluminium and is designed for both flush and surface applications. Simply remove the panel and replace it with Mircom’s MRK-1RK. Once installed, the MRK-1RK is field programmable using the metal keypad.
The system comes complete with a 2 line x 20 character back-lit display, a built-in Postal Lock micro switch and tamper proof screws. In addition the MRK-1RK has provisions for a card reader and camera to be installed. The MRK-1RK is dipswitch selectable for either the AutoDialer (ADC) system which use a dedicated phone line, or the No Subscriber Line (NSL) system, which does not require a dedicated phone line. Typical features considered optional on other competitive systems are standard with the MRK-1RK. Features such as Exclusive Distinct Suite Telephone Ring Pattern which enables management or a service technician to change the ring pattern of a suite which has smart telephone devices that do not pass conventional intercom ring patterns, to conventional telephone ring patterns, without affecting the remainder of the suites in the building.
The MRK-1RK comes with a User Event Tracking capability which logs the activity of both visitors as well as resident keyless entry. The Event Log can be reviewed via keypad or a computer with MirSoft TAS.
Operation of the MRK-1RK is simple as it allows for duplex communications by permitting a visitor to enter a resident code at the entrance panel which causes the resident’s phone to annunciate that a visitor is present. The resident can use their own phone to establish communication with the visitor as well as allow access to the complex by pressing a predefined number on their telephone. (e.g dial “9”) to open the entrance door. Access can be denied by simply hanging up. In addition, residents can gain access into the complex by using their unique 1 to 4 digit code or the optional card reader.
The MRK-1RK is available in both scrolling and non-scrolling versions.

Slim Line Lobby Panel - 120 Name Capability (Stainless Steel)
Mircom’s Electronic Slim Line Lobby Panels are designed to provide Resident/Visitor access control for buildings such as apartments, multi-dwellings, condominiums and offices for up to 60, 120 or 360 residents.
The Electronic Slim Line Lobby Panels are constructed of a heavy gauge stainless steel designed for surface mounting. The systems come complete with scrolling directory 2 x 20 character back-lit LCD display which provide clear messages. In addition it has provisions for both a postal lock switch and a camera. These units can be semi-flush mounted using the optional USFT-1000 semi-flush trim ring. For extremely cold climates, the TH-102 Heater Kit is recommended with these panels.
The Electronic Slim Line Lobby Panels are dip switch selectable for either the AutoDialer system, which uses a dedicated phone line to dial preprogrammed telephone numbers when the unique directory code is entered, or the No Subscriber Line system, which does not require a dedicated phone line.
