Description CPG Signals Model FHEX vibratory horn is designed or use in hazardous locations. The horn produces a loud, distinctive tone by electromechanical vibration o a stainless steel diaphragm. The horn mechanism and circuitry is contained in a corrosion resistant copper tree cast aluminum, explosion-proof housing. Wire leads are factory sealed. The horn operated on 25VDC and is polarized or connection to supervised alarm circuits. The wiring conduit is tapped or 3/4” conduit. The horn is listed or indoor or outdoor use and is finished in red enamel. Application The model FHEX vibratory horn is well suited or signaling in hazardous locations with high ambient noise levels and where a unique audible signal is required. The horn is suitable or use in National electrical Code (NFPA 70): Class I, Groups C & D, Division 1; Class II, Groups E, F, and G Division 1 Class Ill, hazardous locations. The horn is designed or locations where danger or explosion or fire exists. The strobe light has an effective candle power of 850. The strobe mechanism and circuitry is contained in a corrosion resistant copper free cast aluminum, explosion-proof housing. Wire leads are factory sealed. The wiring condulet is tapped for ¾” conduit and has terminals for wiring connections. The strobe light is listed for indoor or outdoor use and is finished in red enamel. The FSEX is NEMA Type 4X rated and is also listed as a marine visual signaling device. The strobe light operates on 24 VDC and is polarized for connection to supervised alarm notification circuits. The strobe is equipped with a clear, red, or amber Lexan polycarbonate inner lens. Features 24 VDC polarized operation. 80 high intensity flashes per minute. Effective candle power of 850 (clear lens). Current draw 1.9A. Rugged explosion-roof circuitry housing.
